Offer snapshot

Copy the written details into one place before comparing offers.

  • Agency and recruiter contact.
  • Facility, unit, shift, start date, end date, and expected weekly schedule.
  • Written weekly gross estimate and the date it was sent.
  • What still needs a written answer before you treat the number as real.

Money lines to separate

  • Taxable hourly rate shown in writing.
  • Housing stipend, meals/incidentals stipend, and whether amounts are weekly or per shift.
  • Travel reimbursement, parking, tolls, uniforms, modules, labs, or other reimbursements.
  • Overtime, call, callback, holiday, charge, crisis, or bonus language if mentioned.

Risk lines to confirm

  • Guaranteed hours and what happens if the facility cancels shifts.
  • Low census, call-off, missed-shift, floating, extension, and early-end language.
  • Housing assumptions used in the package, including whether the estimate assumes agency housing or self-arranged housing.
  • Start-date changes, compliance delays, and what happens if credentialing is not complete on time.

Before you choose

  • Compare two offers side by side using the same categories, not screenshots with different assumptions.
  • Mark every verbal promise that still needs written confirmation.
  • Ask who can clarify tax, legal, licensing, benefits, or contract interpretation questions when the answer affects your situation.
